There were lots of changes last year due to the virus and some of those rules are staying in place this year. Please read the list of Guidelines thoroughly, and be sure that you understand what will need to be done, what will and will not be accepted during this upcoming dance season. Make sure that you agree to all rules before registering your child. It is important that everyone follow all guidelines if we want to keep the studio safe for our dancers! Your child’s wellbeing is first, and foremost, the most important thing. We need to practice strict guidelines to keep all of our dancers, and their families healthy. Please help us to keep our dance studio a safe and happy place!!
Parents will not enter the building. All dancers will be dropped off and picked up. We want all parents to drop and go, however, if you choose to wait for your child in the lot, please park on the far side of the lot or on the street while you wait (helpers will be waiting at the door for the younger dancers and will be taken to their class) If you ever need to enter the building for any reason, you must have previous permission, either through email or calling the front desk. Parents of new dancers ages 2- 6 may enter the building for the first few classes and then will need to follow the drop off rule. Thank you for understanding. Classes will start 5 minutes late to account for drop off, so please be patient when waiting in line.
Masks are required by all that enter the building. All dancers ages 4 and up are required to wear a mask at all times. This is for their own protection😊 Dancers 12 and up that are fully vaccinated will not need to wear a mask. Dancers ages 2-4 will have an optional mask rule. It will be the parents’ decision.Teachers and Staff that are fully vaccinated will not be wearing masks.
All children will have a temperature check as they enter the building. If any child is refused entry, you will be notified immediately to return for your child. Please check their temperature before bringing them.
Each child will sanitize their hands upon entry and be instructed where to put their things. Do not bring any extra items. One bag with necessary shoes only!!
We will continue to practice social distancing with a 3- foot distance between dancers. We will also continue to sanitize the dance rooms in between classes.
No use of cell phones will be permitted. Cell phones carry too many germs. If a child requires a cell phone for contacting parents, they need to keep the phone in their bag and ask permission to use it. If any cell phones are used without permission, they will be taken, and returned when the dancer leaves.
We will be going back to selling water, snacks and food. This process will be monitored to eliminate contact. Dancers are still allowed to bring their own water bottles.
